Alicia Holmes is a visionary financial coach and mentor, dedicated to empowering women—especially women of color—to build wealth, achieve financial independence, and reclaim control over their financial futures. An avid investor with expertise in real estate, cryptocurrency, the stock market, and wealth-building strategies, Alicia achieved financial independence by her early 40s and now helps others chart their own paths to freedom.
Through her workshops, membership community, and transformational teaching style, Alicia inspires women to shift their mindset, master their money, and design lives of abundance. “Wealth is power, and power creates freedom,” she says. “Women who build wealth don’t just change their own lives—they change the world.”
With a gift for simplifying complex financial concepts across investing platforms and connecting wealth to purpose, Alicia challenges women to think bigger, act boldly, and create legacies that last. Her message is simple: no matter where you start, you can take control, build wealth, and make a meaningful impact.

Alicia Holmes, Financial Coach and Educator, founded Journey to Wealth in 2016 with the goal to provide women of color with the tools to create a mindset shift, get out of debt, and build their net worth — with a focus on the game-changing benefits of investing in innovative technology.
Since then, her vision has expanded and she has co-founded a DAO (a decentralized organization) called Distributor DAO. Distributor DAO is a community-led entity with a shared mission focused on educating and securing a place in the future of Web3 for Black and Latinx women.
Both Journey to Wealth and Distributor DAO’s mission is to empower black and Latinx women with the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviors to build for generations to come
